Gabriel Donzelli's first one-man show, "c'est bientôt fini" (it's almost over) will be performed at the Palais des Glaces from November 14, 2023 to January 2, 2024.

Gabriel Donzelli 's first one-man show is introduced with this simple line: "Hello, my name is Gabriel, I'm going to tell you about my life. It's had its ups and downs, but don't worry, it' ll soon be over."

The 21-year-old takes to the stage at the Palais des Glaces, first and foremost out of a "need to tell (his) personal and emotional story" and, above all, to be able to recount, to trace the contours of his biggest demon, the illness he experienced as a child.

This illness, a real family misfortune, was also the subject of another artistic narrative, led by his own parents, Valérie Donzelli and Jérémie Elkaim on the big screen, with the film"La Guerre est Déclarée".

Talking about illness, at the dawn of his twenties, is, in the eyes of the author of his own show, a way of rebuilding and calming himself, but also of finally giving free rein to his desire to tell stories, to be listened to. Gabriel Donzelli uses humor to mediate his needs and desires, but also to protect himself from the gaze of those who receive him.

A touching and intimate show, co-written with Timothé Fiorini, whose varied and versatile inspirations the author shares; stand-up personalities and humorists in general, including Baptiste Lecaplain, but also Franck Dubosc, and his comic genius, or Jim Carrey's game, for its madness. "C'est bientôt fini" (It's almost over), to be performed every Tuesday evening on the stage of the Petit Palais des Glaces until January 2, 2024.
