Alexis Le Rossignol, presents his new show Le sens de la vie at the Théâtre de la Gaîté Montparnasse. The comedian will perform some 40 dates from September 26 to January 4, 2025 .
The comedian didn't start his career in the Paris Comedy Clubs like many of his colleagues, but in Mexico. After stumbling across a stand-up show by chance in a bar, Alexis Le Rossignol decided he wanted to make a career out of it, and tried to launch himself in Mexico in Spanish. But practicing stand-up in a language other than his native tongue proved to be a hindrance, and he eventually returned to France to pursue his career. He developed his YouTube channel, and a string of radio columns and stand-ups brought him to the attention of the public and won him several awards. He performed at La Cigale in February 2023 with his previous show La Cigale pour moi tout seul .
His new show, Le sens de la vie, is not a series of sketches, but rather the development of a question: "What are we doing with our lives?" Between philosophical sequences and storytelling, Alexis Le Rossignol takes you on a quest for meaning.
Le sens de la vie plays at the Gaîté Montparnasse from September 26 to January 4, 2025.
