Since its first performance in Dublin in 1996, Lord of the Dance is said to have won over 60 million spectators in some sixty countries. Based on a landmark performance at Eurovision 1994, the show alternates between percussive solos, high-intensity collective scenes and spectacular visual narrative tableaux. For this new anniversary tour, the show would benefit from renewed staging, new costumes, choreography reworked by Michael Flatley himself, and a modernized musical accompaniment by Gerard Fahy.
