La prochaine fois tu mordras la poussière, a book by humorist Panayotis Pascot, will shortly be adapted and staged by Paul Pascot. The play will run at the Théâtre du Petit Saint-Martin in Paris's 10th arrondissement from November 4 to December 29, 2024, starring rising French film star Vassili Schneider. The play, already sold out for November and December, has already been announced for the Théâtre de la Porte Saint Martin from January 29 to March 8, 2025.
In his autofictional novel, Panayotis Pascot deals with three subjects: depression, the father/son relationship and acceptance of his homosexuality. The humorist shares his nocturnal reflections with readers. The book doesn't really have a beginning or an end; he conveys his thoughts in bulk, without artifice. La prochaine fois tu mordras la poussière is a humorous and tender analysis of his own life, in which the youngest of the Schneider siblings takes part.
Paul Pascot, the book's adapter and director, is Panayotis Pascot 's brother. A project that resounds like a family project, in which Paul Pascot should bring as much emotion as his brother does to his novel. On stage, you'll find Vassili Schneider, a revelation in The Count of Monte Cristo, as well as actor Yann Pradal. La prochaine fois tu mordras la poussière, Paul Pascot 's adaptation of Panayotis Pascot's book, can be seen at Théâtre du Petit Saint-Martin!
