Having discovered the life of Frida Kahlo through film and television, Paõla Duniaud has now decided to trace the extraordinary life of the Mexican artist in the theater. In this biographical play, performed at the Manufacture des Abbesses, we should learn a lot about the complex character of Frida Kahlo.
Paõla Duniaud plunges the viewer into 1960, at the dawn of feminism. She presents Frida Kahlo 's avant-garde approach to a wide range of subjects, including sexuality and self-acceptance. An emcee against her will, the author looks back at the origins of the craze surrounding the Mexican painter.
