The story of Zourou, beyond words follows 13-year-old Lola, a teenager with a severe language disorder. Living alone with her father, Pierre, she finds dance an outlet that allows her to exist in a different way. Pierre, loving but awkward, doesn't see that Lola is evolving, until the day their equilibrium is upset by the arrival of Jeanne, Pierre's new girlfriend, and Jérémie, a speech therapist who turns their daily lives upside down. Lola's bedroom becomes the stage for a dialogue without words, where bodies and glances replace sentences.
