La Halle Saint-Pierre in Paris

Want to get out and rediscover Paris's various artistic institutions? Stop off at the Halle Saint-Pierre, located at the foot of the Montmartre hill!

A veritable Parisian temple to outsider art, Halle Saint-Pierre, built in 1868 by a pupil of Baltard, wasn't converted into a museum until 1986. Since its opening, this cultural establishment has hosted thematic exhibitions and monographs, as well as debates, conferences and literary evenings devoted to art brut, singulier and outsider.

Although the museum and its bookshop have reopened, the tearoom remains closed for the time being. In any case, we're taking advantage of the opportunity to visit this Parisian art Mecca in search of an escape. Shall we go, friends?
