Paris Design Week, the must-attendfree event for design and decoration enthusiasts, returns to the capital for a new edition from September 7 to 16, 2023. It's an opportunity to discover the latest trends in the field, signed by recognized designers and young talents alike, in some of the City of Light's most unusual venues.
For ten colorful days, Paris is transformed into a vast playground for design enthusiasts, with exhibitions, conferences, workshops and art installations scattered across various parts of the city.
Visitors will have the opportunity to (re)discover contemporary art galleries, designer showrooms and ephemeral spaces specially set up for the occasion. Paris Design Week showcases the diversity of design disciplines, from furniture and fashion toarchitecture and new technologies.
A veritable ode to innovation and creativity, the event is the perfect place for design professionals and enthusiasts to meet, leaving the way open for new vocations! So, whether you're an enlightened amateur or a seasoned expert, Paris Design Week 2023 promises to enchant you with a compendium of inspiration, originality and know-how, in the heart of one of design's most emblematic cities.

On the cobblestones of the Archives Nationales in Paris, INVISI presents the sound sculpture "KO-TONE Spiral Xylophone", one of its most representative works, and "Echo Stratum", the new sound furniture.

Uchronia
Like a summer evening breeze, Uchronia takes up residence in the Orangerie of the Hôtel de Sully. A radiant, colorful atmosphere spreads from room to room,like a sunset breaking through the arched windows in gradated tones.

Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche
A colorful back-to-school season is in store at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, with the Olé Olé exhibition, imagined with the iconic Rossy de Palma! An opportunity to showcase the very best in Hispanic fashion, craftsmanship and design. For its first participation in the event, the Grand Magasin is hosting the Paris Design Week 2023 inaugural party on Thursday, September 7, from 6:30 to 9pm.

Jeremy Maxwell
Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert presents a sculptural work at the Hôtel de la Marine. An 18th-century jewel, the building houses a modern installation of blown glass discs in its largest courtyard. Representing the formation of a star, the work is a dialogue between past and present, terrestrial and celestial, traditional craftsmanship and contemporary creation. The installation, created in-situ, is made up of 80 blown-glass cives, with a total surface area of around 11 metres long and 4 metres wide.

Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées
Kitesy Martin's "Planète Renew"exhibition takes up residence in the private lounge of Galeries Lafayette Champs Élysées. It depicts an exhausted world where people take refuge on another planet with their most precious possessions. Thanks to these remnants of earthly objects, an everyday life is reconstituted using upcycled objects. "Planète Renew" invites visitors to discover this new world through the apartment of one of its inhabitants.

Galeries Lafayette Haussmann
Korean artist Kimsooja presents themonumental in situ installation "To Breathe" at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. The historic dome of the department store is adorned with a film that diffracts natural light into a multitude of colors, transforming interior and exterior surfaces into ephemeral iridescent landscapes throughout the day.

La Galerie de Pierre Marie
Since its opening in 2018, La Galerie de Pierre Marie offers one exhibition a year, in which Pierre Marie creates a decorative ensemble ofworks and small, self-edited pieces of furniture made by the finest craftsmen.

For almost 150 years, Féau Boiseries has been perpetuating the tradition of fine French decor. The company designs, adapts, produces and installs woodworkinspired by iconic architects from the 17th century to the present day.

Le Corbusier's studio apartment
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is located in an innovative building designed with Pierre Jeanneret between 1931 and 1934, and featuring 8 floors of all-glass facades. The 240m2 duplex apartment houses both the architect's living quarters and his painting studio. Bathed in light and open to nature, the space reflects the characteristic elements of his style: free plan, large bay windows, roof terrace, polychromy and huge revolving doors.

Maison La Roche - Fondation Le Corbusier
In the Maison La Roche,Le Corbusier's first purist house, discover ANTRETEMPS, an exhibition by Matali Crasset. This creation by the celebrated French designer reveals a little-known aspect of her work, notably digital drawing, a practice she has been developing since 2007.
