Until January 7, 2024, discover over 1,000 solutions for making the urban environment greener and more virtuous in terms of ecological transition at a fun, interactive exhibition, accessible with children!
"Talking about climate problems without talking about solutions, as we so often do, engenders a feeling of powerlessness that leads toeco-anxiety and inaction," explains Dr. Bertrand Piccard, psychiatrist and Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation, behind this new exhibition. So, from room to room, discover what solutions already exist in the various areas that are vectors of pollution in our urban environments:energy and the power grid, water and infrastructure, construction and buildings, sustainable housing, logistical mobility, waste management... and finally, sustainable housing, where many solutions can be found to make our city centers greener places to live. From our modes of transport to the architecture of the buildings in which we live and how best to manage our waste, our lifestyles and consumption patterns are examined and studied, to propose more eco-friendly solutions for our everyday urban lives.

So, to find out all about this new exhibition, all you have to do is discover City of Tomorrow, the Cité des Sciences ' new temporary exhibition!
Our opinion:
With its 1000 solutions and more, the City of Tomorrow exhibition is much more than that: it's a real practical guide to give us absolutely all the solutions and thus reduce our carbon footprint, as well as the impact of our lifestyle on our own scale. The exhibition takes up the adage "small streams make big rivers", and, clearly, this is the thought that follows us throughout our visit: how can we, on an individual scale, make an impact? There's plenty to read for younger visitors, a little too much, but they'll certainly enjoy the more interactive features. As for
it's an exhibition you can do with them, to take a closer look at the actions you can take in your own home. An exhibition that's as useful as it is indispensable these days, to help you understand how to save the planet while making savings (yes, you can), and one that we recommend to all adults.
