In 2025, the Hôtel de Ville de Paris will host a special exhibition to mark the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreements.

The news came as Paris MayorAnne Hidalgo announced her wishes for the year 2025: in addition to the many projects included in the budget for the new year, there will be several exhibitions. These include an anniversary exhibition atParis City Hall, celebrating 10 years of the Paris Agreements.

Signed in 2015 at the Paris Climate Change Conference by 193 states, the Paris Agreements are an international treaty with the aim of finding the funding and implementing the actions needed to mitigate the effects of and best adapt to climate change. The long-term objective of these agreements is to keep the rise in the planet's average temperature below 2°C compared with pre-industrial levels.

Ten years on, what are the results of these agreements? In the news, we note in particular the withdrawal of the signature of the United States in 2025, upon the inauguration of the new president Donald Trump. In terms of figures and developments, this is what the exhibition will trace: the actions taken, at local and international level, to respect these agreements to the full. We invite you to discover urban transformations in no fewer thanthirty cities around the world, to see how these agreements are being applied on a daily basis.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on June 21 at Paris City Hall!
