A free sound and light show at Château de Blandy-les-Tours! Take me to see L'Héritage des Vicomtes

From June 28 to July 14, 2024,the Emmenez-moi festival offers a wealth of good heritage ideas to discover in the Seine-et-Marne region. Over three weekends, a program of artistic and cultural events is on offer to discover the unusual and little-known heritage gems of the Paris region. And all for free! The festival kicks off at the Château de Blandy-les-Tours with a new sound and light show.

Entirely free of charge, the Emmenez-moi Festival is an event open to all, and particularly to families. Numerous activities are adapted to people with disabilities, including inclusive shows featuring music, voice and sign language, a cecifoot workshop and conferences with Paralympic athletes.

The Emmenez-moi festival kicks off with the inaugural evening of the new show " Les Lumières de Blandy " on June 28 at the Château de Blandy in Blandy-les-Tours. The château's grounds will host monumental projections, live entertainment, lighting and music for our greatest pleasure.

For this occasion, the château welcomes you free of charge on Friday June 28, 2024, by reservation only on the château website. From 8.30pm, you can freely explore the castle's rooms and secrets. At 10:45pm, in the sumptuous setting of the medieval château's inner courtyard, the Les Lumières de Blandy show invites you to relive its greatest hours. This sound and light show takes us into a fresco projected onto the walls of the monument.

For its fourth year, Les Lumières de Blandy plunges us into the heart of the castle's history. We discover L'héritage des Vicomtes, a new scenario projected onto the castle facade. Between intrigues, plots and parties, experience the history of Blandy as if you were there.

In the sumptuous setting of the inner courtyard of the medieval château de Blandy, the show invites us to relive its greatest glories. This sound and light show takes us on an epic journey through the history of Blandy castle. The show is an epic journey through the key events in the history of Blandy castle and its owners, brought to light by the History of France. It begins in the Middle Ages, just before the castle was built, and continues through 800 years of history. Battles, political intrigue, medieval life and love stories, this wild epic slows down shortly before the French Revolution, and then moves gently into the latter part of our history, when the château was acquired by the town of Blandy in the 19th century.

This show is presented by Holymage. As part of the Emmenez-moi Heritage Festival, the opening night is exceptionally free of charge , but you can still discover L'héritage des Vicomtes in a paying version until August 31, 2024.

• From Paris, take the A5 towards Troyes, exit n°16 Châtillon-la-Borde then follow the D47.
• From Melun, take the D408 then follow the D47 or the N36 then the D215 via Vaux-le-Vicomte.
• From Provins, take the D408 and follow the D47.
