The beautiful Jardin des Plantes rose garden unveils its beautiful colors

Looking for the most beautiful rose gardens in Paris? The Jardin des Plantes rose garden is a must-see. A veritable species conservatory, this rose garden boasts a fine collection of both old and contemporary roses. The Jardin des Plantes rose garden was designed and planted in 1990.

This rose garden features wild botanical species, old roses (created before 1867) and modern roses (created after 1867). The following varieties are on display: Pimpinellifolia, Cinnamoneae, Gallicanae, Caninae, gallic, hundred-leaf, moss, damask, portland, alba, rugosa, hazelnut, bourbon, tea hybrids...

In spring, between late May and June, an explosion of color awaits you.

Alongside the rose garden, minerals are displayed as a reminder of the adjoining gallery. Talc from Luzenac (Pyrenees), Bsaltic Organs, Massiac (Auvergne) and Slate from Trélazé (Anjou) are on display.
