This weekend, June 3 and 4, 2023, we're off to the Parc Floral, one of the capital's largest and most beautiful parks, in the heart of the Chesnaie du Roy, to enjoy a weekend of botanical activities . The Village Botanique is back this year for a maximum of natural discoveries, with free workshops and guided tours for the whole family. On the program: two days of fascinating exchanges with institutions, partners and associations!
Planned workshops
- Stands Jardin Botanique de Paris & City of Paris departments
- Workshop: Introduction to botanical drawing and painting (on-site registration)
- Workshop: Introduction to botanical vocabulary: describing a plant (on-site registration)
- Workshop: Introduction to using a flora to determine the names of wild plants (on-site registration)
- Bouquet-making demonstration with the City of Paris florists
- Presentation of fossils
- Presentation of the seed shop and the In Vitro Culture laboratory
- Presentation of the use of different mulches
And don't forget the themed guided tours, the opportunity to discover the draught horse of the Bois de Vincennes, and the Butterfly Garden on Sundays!
