A day in the open air in Issy: walk on the islands and visit of the Tour aux Figures

The weather has cooled down, but it's still possible to enjoy outdoor activities with the whole family! Put on your hat, coat, gloves and scarf, and head forIle Saint-Germain in Issy-les-Moulineaux.

The tour is Pass Navigo friendly, so you can, and it's even advisable to take the RER C, as you'll need to get off at the Issy-Val de Seine station. You then set off in the direction of the Ile Saint-Germain park, located between the two banks of the Seine. From afar, you can already make out Jean Dubuffet's imposing Tour aux figures , a 24-metre-high monument as atypical as it is playful. If you visit on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, you can even visit the Gastrovolve, the Tower's mysterious interior. Please note: reservations can only be made online, and you must respect the time slot for your visit!

After a tour of the park, where you can enjoy the beautiful lawns to play, rest or read in the sun... Head for the exit, to continue a little further along Ile Saint-Germain. Take the Promenade Robinson, then the bucolic Promenade Constant Pape, before crossing the Boulevard des îles (and the bridge) to reach the Quai de la Bataille de Stalingrad. You walk along the whole of theChemin de Halage and the barges moored on the banks of the Seine, and in the distance you can already see the futuristicIle Seguin, with the Seine Musicale overlooking the island. If you're lucky, you'll even see barges and cruise ships passing by as you walk along the quays!
