This year, the 2026 edition of the Fête de la Laine lands right during the Easter holidays 2026. No time to waste—head to the Parc Georges Valbon, in La Courneuve, for a delightful afternoon with the sheep, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the Saturday, 19 April.
The Fête de la Laine always takes place in spring, when the sheep need to shed their thick woollen fur to get through the summer. So, every year, the festival gives the general public the chance not only to watch the various shearing demonstrations free of charge, but also to get their hands dirty in a wool weaving workshop.

With about a hundred animals in their sheepfold, the association’s urban shepherds tend to the sheep daily, so join us on Saturday, April 19, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m. to discover this edition of the Wool Festival for the whole family!
