Jardin Bonheur is celebrating its 18th birthday this year, and for the occasion, the queen of flowers is in the spotlight: the rose. Whether romantic, thorny, fluffy or elegant, the whole city of Levallois-Perret will see life in roses from May 25 to 26, 2024!
What's on the program? The Parc de la Planchette will host over 60 exhibitors and artisans from Levallois (and beyond), an ephemeral rose garden (the star of this festival) has been created from scratch, and there will be free workshops for children aged 5 and over. Children can discover how to create their own rose perfume using natural ingredients, or create a floral arrangement around the rose (with the help of animators)...
The Maison de la Pêche et de la Nature (Fish and Nature House ) is also on hand, offering a variety of activities: aquariums to introduce the little ones to fish, a sensory barefoot trail to walk without socks, a nature art shoot (safe for youngsters) and a selection of nature-related board games to try out with the whole family.
Immerse yourself in a magical world for a weekend: Jardin Bonheur is said to feature a piano balanced on a flying carpet, a hot-air balloon that takes you on a journey through the air, and swings shaped like boats... Climb aboard these poetic rides!
Then, prolong your immersion in the fairy tale by entering the Parc de la Planchette rose garden: the story goes that this is a magical place, and that the gardeners will be handing out beautiful plants resembling large roses to all visitors. Don't forget to take a photo in the pretty photo frame set up in the garden, or take a pony ride (€2 per child).
If you're here for the day: good news, there's a food court on the programme, with a variety of food trucks to suit all tastes and appetites. Hot dogs, homemade sorbets and ice creams, crêpes, fruit juices, sandwiches, seafood... a great day out in Levallois-Perret!
