Vivaces: free festival and plant market in the Jardins Passagers at La Villette

To mark the 6th edition of the Vivaces! festival, the Jardins Passagers are hosting a free event on Saturday, October 7, 2023, with a large plant market and a host of activities for fans of small and large green plants.

The Vivaces! program also includes walks combining science and poetry, performances, educational and artistic workshops, as well as nature walks to learn all about the plants of the Jardins Passagers (and the Parc de la Villette), and artistic interventions! Yes, the program is already shaping up to be a busy one on Saturday, October 7, 2023, and throughout the day you'll also be able to get advice on how to care for and pamper your perennial plants.

Of course, don't miss the Gardeners' Market - the highlight of the event, where you can buy all kinds of plants - with a market of perennials produced by nursery growers in the Paris basin, a gardening bookshop and the Gardeners' Recycling Centre! On the food front, Bistrot la Timbale will be serving up a delicious menu all day long. As part of the Vivaces festival, take advantage of this botanical excursion into the heart of the Parc de la Villette to discover its 13 Gardens: the Jardin du Dragon (and its incredible slide), the Jardin des Voltiges, the Jardin de la Treille, childish frights, shadows, mirrors... And last but not least, take a trip to the Ferme de la Villette, where you'll discover the farm's strange residents!
