On Sunday, May 24, 2026, Sartrouville (Yvelines, 78) invites you to break away from the routine and leave the car behind for an afternoon filled with festivities, art, and pedestrian-friendly streets along the banks of the Seine. It’s the much-anticipated return of Scènes en Seine, a vibrant event that brings the quays to life for a unique afternoon ... and kicks off the "Sundays on the Quay" series, featuring car-free Sundays from May to October.
For this third edition, the quays are transformed into a massive open-air stage. Visitors can stroll on foot, cycle, ride a scooter, or roll on skates — and they'll often stop to enjoy a barrage of performances: from rock and folk concerts to choir shows, dance, magic, juggling, and even a DJ on a bike (why not?). There’s also giant karaoke, free piano sessions, and a giant-sized checkers board for some friendly competition.
Fancy a gourmet break between shows? Two foodtrucks will be on hand to treat you to pancakes, waffles, popcorn, lemonade and craft beers.
Stay tuned for the upcoming schedule
In short, on May 24th, Sartrouville is celebrating on the quayside—so step outside to enjoy the fresh air… and indulge in a rich cultural experience!
