Foire au barc et aux cochons 2025: the popular festival returns to Champigny (94) in September

This year, on Saturday November 8 and Sunday November 9, 2025, the Champigny pig and barter fair celebrates a new edition, with a great program as usual! Its origins date back to 1563, when King Charles IX granted the lord of Champigny the right to organize two annual fairs (according to the Champigny town hall website), with a particularly notable presence of pig breeders at the time.

The pigs may be out of the picture in 2025, but the spirit of the Champigny Fair remains unchanged, with a funfair and free events for the whole family. For the occasion, a large medieval village takes place on rue Louis Talamoni, a funfair opens its rides to young and old, a flea market sets up, an educational farm invites you to discover farm animals...
