Back-to-school fireworks in Orsay (91)

It's back to school time, yes, but take heart: there are still tons of events and activities to discover before the end of summer. So, let's head for the town of Orsay in the Essonne department for a special evening in early September 2025, topped off by a grand fireworks display.

After the traditional fireworks display on July 14th, the French national holiday, it's almost nostalgic not to see the sky decked out in a thousand and one colors of fire after dark. So, some towns, such as Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, Gournay-sur-Marne (93) andOrsay, are bringing the fireworks back to close the summer season. The evening will take place in the town's municipal stadium, and the fire will be visible from the same spot.

The evening's program includes:

• 8pm: festive evening with DJ set
• 10:30pm: fireworks
