The Ratatouille: Rémy's Totally Toasted Adventure attraction at Disneyland Paris will close from October 2025 to spring 2026 for a major renovation.

A major transformation is taking place at the heart of Walt Disney Studios Park... Ratatouille : L'Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, the flagship attraction at Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be Disney Adventure World), will close from October 2025 to spring 2026, in order to modernize and optimize the park's infrastructure.

Teams from Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and Disneyland Paris will be carrying out a complete overhaul to offer visitors a revamped experience. The renovation will involve both the queue and the attraction itself.

A queue enriched with a new scene

Among the new features announced, the queue will benefit from a new stage. Visitors will be able to discover a reconstructed Parisian artist's studio, with canvases hanging on the walls, paint stains and various accessories. This additional space will follow in the footsteps of the Pixar film universe, offering more immersive details right from the entrance.

Inside the attraction, new elements will enhance certain scenes. These include additional props, projections and oversized backdrops, designed to accentuate the effect of reducing the film's characters to size. The aim is to enhance visitors' immersion in the world of Rémy and his brigade.

Technical improvements and removal of 3D

The renovation also includes updating the technical equipment. All video projectors will be replaced by more recent, high-performance models. Video media will be reworked to offer improved image quality. These adjustments are designed to ensure better visual fluidity for visitors.

A notable change will accompany this redesign: the definitive abolition of the 3D system. After several phases of testing and audience feedback, sequences will now be broadcast in 2D on a permanent basis. This change marks an important evolution in the experience offered.

A project in line with the renovations

This initiative is part of an overall program to renovate and modernize Disneyland Paris attractions. It follows on from other recent projects, such as the refurbishment of Fairytale Land and Big Thunder Mountain, and the ongoing work on Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.

Visitors will be able to discover the new version of Ratatouille: L'Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy from spring 2026. In the meantime, the attraction will remain closed to allow for the implementation of these technical and scenographic evolutions.
