Sunday is Brunch! Okay, but what kind of brunch? A sweet and savory, American-style brunch with live music. That's what the Hard Rock Café is offering on Sundays in April. It's a great way to treat yourself and spend a Sunday in good spirits, because as everyone knows, music softens the soul.
That's all well and good, but what's on the menu at this Made in the USA brunch? Imagine giant platters to share, served as much as you like. On the menu: French toast, muffins, bagels with wild berry butter, pancakes, maple syrup waffles for the sweet part. On the savory side, enjoy bacon, fried chicken, tomatoes, fried potatoes, sausages, bagels with salmon cream cheese and scrambled eggs. If you're hungry, you're in for a treat: the brunch is gargantuan, and we dare you to ask for more.
And to quench your thirst after so much food, you can sip as much apple or orange juice as you like, plus 2 cocktails made with fresh produce and premium alcohol. For you, will it be Bloody Mary (Smirnoff, tomato juice, lemon juice, celery salt, Worcester sauce and celery stalk) or Mimosa Cocktail (glass of champagne with orange juice)? Or maybe both...
As for the music, enjoy a live acoustic performance by Simon Carrière and his cellist, in a "sweet" atmosphere. From 10 a.m. to noon, the two artists perform the greatest pop-rock classics by Coldplay, U2, Marvin Gaye, Pink Floyd and Queen.
