Like many people, I'm sure you've already said to yourself: "Let's go and have a nice meal out with the family". A good idea, except that with small children, the choice of restaurants is often quickly limited... If you've had enough of Mc Do and other fast-food restaurants, where your children are delighted and the meal is so quickly swallowed that they don't have time to get bored at the table, this article is for you!

Sundays are family days, yes, but it's always a bit of a hassle to enjoy a good meal with our toddlers in tow. Service is often too long for our little ones, who tend to get impatient (too) quickly. Buddha Bar Paris joins a select group of kid-friendly restaurants in the capital, offering a family-friendly menu with dishes specially designed for children and a great entertainment program to keep them occupied once their meal is over.

The large buffet, set up at the feet of the giant Buddha, is organized into 4 sections:

  • Breakfast includes hot drinks (coffee, different varieties of tea, cocoa, etc.) and cold drinks (orange juice, grapefruit juice, tomato juice), as well as a range of breads and pastries served with honey, jams and spreads...
  • Cold buffet featuring smoked salmon, slices of rosbeef, cold meats, cheeses, salads (including the restaurant's signature chicken and sesame salad)...

  • Hot buffet, including scrambled eggs and omelettes, sausages and bacon, as well as the Buddha Bar's famous stir-fried noodles (which can be made with beef, chicken or duck) and rice served with yellow curry shrimps, recalling the Asian origins of chef Iimura Shigeki, assisted by Frédéric Branchu, who also has a passion for Asia.
Younger diners who might be a little reticent at the sight of these Asian dishes can also opt for a burger or chicken nuggets prepared on request.
  • Desserts, including the chocolate fountain, a meeting point for young and old alike, where they can dip various pieces of fruit, marshmallows or even financiers, as well as chocolate mousse, fruit baskets, cereals, pancakes, French toast, cheesecake and much more...

As you can imagine, tasting each dish will take some time, but rest assured you won't have to endure your children's disapproving stares on your 3rd visit to the all-you-can-eat buffet, because once they've devoured their meal, they'll be off up the stairs to the upstairs entertainment room, and you won't hear a peep from them again until it's time to go! You can then enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet as a couple or with friends, while your offspring enjoy themselves under your watchful eye.

But what's going on up there? The playroom is located on a mezzanine floor, where your children can watch you and make sure you haven't forgotten them! A charming animator offers a variety of activities: coloring, collage workshops, board games, various animation games, music, balloon blowing... Animations vary according to the theme of the week, for example: Brunch des rois or Chinese New Year.
