Looking for a delicious spot to extend the festive cheer? We’re taking you to the dome of Printemps Haussmann in the 9th arrondissement. It’s on the 6th floor of Printemps Femme, inside the Bleu Coupole, that we find the Christmas and winter tea time crafted by pastry chef Bryan Esposito and savory expert Xavier Pistol. This menu is arguably one of the most enticing in the city, available throughout December 2025 and into January 2026.
For €32, enjoy a true feast of indulgence that doesn't skimp on portion sizes. The package includes a savory course with three meticulously crafted bites, followed by four hearty pastries. All of this is served with a hot beverage of your choice. Not bad, right? At this price, is it worth it? We went to check it out, and honestly, it’s quite impressive.
On the savory side, Xavier Pistol treats us to a lobster and avocado bun that immediately transports us to the depths of marine flavors. Next up, a generous and flavorful mini pastrami bagel, followed by a delicate salmon finger that perfectly rounds out this elegant trio. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted and well-balanced, just enough to whet the appetite without overdoing it. We appreciate offerings that, while approachable, break away from the usual and the often-repeated finger sandwiches.
Next up is a sweet indulgence with four pastry creations by Bryan Esposito. Expect a delightfully soft blueberry muffin, a nostalgic peanut butter cookie that hits all the right notes, a rich hazelnut chocolate brownie for the chocoholics, and finally, a pear and speculoos crumble that perfectly blends wintery flavors. Every bite captures the festive spirit, with a variety of textures that make each mouthful even more enjoyable.
For those looking to take their experience a step further, Printemps Haussmann offers a few extra indulgent options. You can add a glass of Veuve Clicquot Brut champagne for €18, perfect for celebrating this special moment under the dome. The more indulgent visitors can also enhance their treat with a slice of the famous Christmas log cake, "Candy Cane," priced at €12 per slice — although we were told it's nearly sold out (a few slices still remain in reserve).
The ambiance beneath the Art Nouveau dome of Printemps infuses this indulgent break with a touch of magic. At the heart of the teashop, a stunning Christmas tree commands attention, extending the festive spirit. You can settle in comfortably amidst this iconic Parisian setting, a true architectural gem in the 9th arrondissement just a stone's throw from the Opéra Garnier. The icing on the cake? Enjoying a beautiful view of the Parisian rooftops and Montmartre, making the experience all the more memorable. It's the perfect opportunity to combine cultural and culinary shopping in the heart of Paris, with a breathtaking panorama to top it off.
What makes this tea time especially appealing is its excellent value for money, given the prime location. At €32 for a generous, complete set, it’s quite affordable compared to other Parisian spots offering similar deals, which often go beyond €50. Plus, no reservation is required, making it easy to indulge in this delightful break on a whim.
Open seven days a week from 3 PM to 7 PM in December 2025 and throughout January 2026, this tea time offers a charming outing option for the holidays or a gentle way to start the year. Whether you're meeting friends, enjoying a romantic break, or treating yourself after a day of shopping, the cozy atmosphere suits any moment. Basically, if you're after a delightful pause beneath one of Paris’s most stunning domes without breaking the bank, we highly recommend a visit to Printemps Haussmann. It's a wonderful spot to extend the holiday magic throughout the winter season. Contrary to what you might expect from a shopping center, the Bleu Coupole is a unique space, far from the hustle and bustle of Parisian boulevards.
Tea time at Bleu Coupole in Printemps Haussmann is available from Monday to Sunday, from 3 PM to 7 PM. Priced at €32, no reservation is strictly required, but we recommend making a reservation just to be safe, as it tends to fill up quickly. The venue is easily accessible by metro via Havre-Caumartin (lines 3 and 9), Chaussée d'Antin-La Fayette (lines 7 and 9), or by RER A at Auber station.
