After its annual closure, Moulin Jaune, the extraordinary garden of Clown Slava is once again inviting us to enjoy the season during spring 2026. This is a perfect opportunity to celebrate life in pink, especially with Hanami, directly from the Moulin Jaune, on April 18 and 19, 2026.
To welcome spring in a gentle way, the entire team at Moulin Jaune invites you to celebrate the season with a cherry blossom petal throw. As for the dress code, the Moulin Jaune is known for opening only a few weekends each year, each with a different theme: peace and love with the hippies, a bohemian vibe, or an all-white picnic... For this weekend with pink as the star, clown Slava invites you to step inside his fantastical home dressed in your finest kimonos or pink outfits, topped off with the glasses that let you see life through rose-colored glasses.
For picnics, which visitors often enjoy in the stunning gardens, bento boxes, cotton bags, and bamboo baskets are perfect for staying in the theme. Alternatively, the on-site bar offers its usual selection of snacks, desserts, and dishes inspired by Russian cuisine — the homeland of the clown Slava — to satisfy your appetite.
One practical tip: the garden remains open even in rainy weather. Just remember to bring umbrellas—clear ones, like in Japan, work even better. Dogs are welcome too, as long as they leave the ducks in peace and wear a scarf or accessory matching the theme.
Following the vibrant Spring of Pink, Moulin Jaune is opening its doors for the first time to showcase its costume creation workshop. During a workshop from April 27 to May 3, the studio offers an exciting lineup that spans from a fashion exhibition at Palais Galliera to the design process culminating in a runway show.
Please note that the prices listed are for advance purchase. On the day before, the day of, and on-site, an additional €5 fee per person will be added.
