Melon sorbet with chilli petals, seaweed & cucumber gin, bell pepper, Immortelle ice cream or Basil yoghurt, this is the place to go for culinary adventurers in search of new experiences. Here, your intrepidity is rewarded with flavors that exceed your expectations.

Far from wanting to create a buzz for the sake of creating a buzz, La Tropicale 's aim is to democratize little-known flavors and pairings. That's why, to help you make your choice and deconstruct preconceived ideas, this talented ice cream maker doesn't hesitate to let you taste the different flavors. The tasting speaks for itself: each recipe is perfectly balanced, and you'll find yourself appreciating flavors you'd never have chosen blindly. For example, we were pleasantly surprised by the peach lemon balm! Frankly speaking, we liked EVERYTHING, right down to the revisited, low-sugar granita.

Behind this new, affordable spot lies a family history. In fact, it's been delighting Parisians for 40 years over two generations. Originally set up in the 13th arrondissement, this frosty address has now taken up residence in the 12th arrondissement, a stone's throw from the Viaduc des Arts, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a stroll along the coulée verte, cone in hand.

At La Tropicale, there's something for everyone, including vegans, vegetarians and those intolerant to gluten and lactose. There's something for everyone, with a wide range of products to suit every diet. Every day, the spot offers new flavors, making it all the more reason to return again and again without getting bored.

On-site or takeaway, the price remains the same. You can sit down in the tearoom for a gourmet break with ice creams, sorbets and frosted desserts. You can even enjoy a healthy lunch on the go, or take part in a mochi-making workshop. And if you've discovered your favorite, you can take your jar home with you. All in all, there are some fifteen flavors to discover every week, in line with the seasonality of the products.
