The best Sunday lunches are certainly those we used to have at our grandparents', with kids running around and the whole family gathered around a huge dish to share. Feuille de Chou was inspired by this convivial gathering, from which we always come out with a full belly, to propose its new concept: La Grande bouffe, a Sunday lunch to feel like at grandma and grandpa's.
On the menu? An à la carte menu, well, no, there is no menu at all, on Sundays at Feuille de Chou, it's like at home: the same thing for everyone. Period. The nice thing is that the same thing is a roasted chicken, certified organic and accompanied by its salad of fries, its vegetables and a green salad. For special diets (vegan or other), you are served fish or vegetables instead, you just have to tell the waiters, dressed in their inimitable khaki suits.
The restaurant even offers to take extra fries on request, even if "most of the time, the customers are satisfied" with the first salad bowl, says the chef. For starters, various mezze: two permanent recipes and two recipes that change every week. For dessert, the same concept: we share. Chocolate mousse, crème brûlée... We remain in a franchouillard spirit, in the good old-fashioned way, which takes nothing away from the quality of the lunch.
At Feuille de Chou, 95% of the food cooked is certified organic, the dishes are cooked and prepared before your eyes in the open kitchen and all the products are of French origin or from the Ile-de-France region. Count 35 € per adult and 18 € per child under 12 years old for this Sunday lunch , served every Sunday (reservation strongly advised), from 12 to 4 pm. To extend the day with your family, don't forget to visit the Puces de Saint-Ouen, a stone's throw from the MOB House, on your way there (or on your way out)!
