Tomorrow, an anti-gasp bakery at mini prices, in the 11th arrondissement

It's a concept that's as committed as it is innovative in Paris: on rue Saint-Maur, in the 11th arrondissement, the Demain bakery stands out from the crowd: and for good reason: it sells only yesterday's products, at bargain prices.

It's perhaps one of the cheapest bakeries in Paris, and with good reason. Demain has the particularity of only selling... Only products that went unsold the day before. In fact, every day, the Demain bakery teams collect unsold products from no fewer than 17 bakeries in the surrounding arrondissements (with new partner bakeries soon to work with Demain), always with a view to combating food waste.

When you go there, you'll be able to choose between traditional viennoiseries (croissants, pains au chocolat, brioches, suisses...) at reduced prices, or even at half the usual price. On the bakery side, you'll find sourdough and cereal breads, some of them organic, with ancient flours (notably spelt and petit épeautre)... All at bargain prices.

Demain's special touch is to offer a second life to unsold products: croissants and pains au chocolat, for example, are "smashed" (i.e. rolled with a rolling pin), baked in the oven and then toasted with honey to give them a crunchy texture! An address as committed to combating waste as it is to protecting your wallet, since it's the anti-inflation bakery par excellence: a lovely concept to discover on rue Saint-Maur, in the 11th arrondissement.
