At Sortir à Paris, since we are on the lookout for all the Parisian events, we were pleased to see a resurgence of solidarity, committed and ecological initiatives. We were telling you about the Zero Waste festival, the Veggie World vegan fair or the solidarity picnic in the Parc de la Villette: Parisian friends who help each other and lead each other towards a better world .
Among the nice initiatives listed, there is the one of theassociation Pain Perdu: once a month, in different places of the capital, the association will invite the public to reflect on a subject of the future. On Sunday June 26th, we will think together about food waste and how to avoid it. Because the food production would allow today to feed 12 billion people, it is not difficult to imagine the tons and tons of food purely and simply thrown in the trash, while hunger in the world is still a serious problem.
So let's learn to stop wasting for a cleaner, greener and better fed planet. On June 26 at the Klin d'oeil boutique, a round table will be hosted by thePain Perdu association with several anti-waste initiatives (such as the Optimiam application, the La Louve supermarket and the Freegan Pony restaurant). A Do It Yourself workshop will be proposed around the making of terrariums, with the florists of Atelier Carmin. And of course, a French toast sale will be organized, French toast was a delicious recipe that resurrects food that could have been thrown away!
