If you're a fan of exotic cuisine, especially Thai, you've come to the right place: Kinn Khao, the new temple of curry in Paris. Fresh, homemade and gourmet, it's all here.

Located on rue Mayran in the 9th arrondissement, this new Thai eatery has something for everyone, whether you're looking for a gustatory journey for a quick lunch or a fun dinner in the evening. Open the doors of Kinn Khao and let the scent of spices transport you to Thailand.

The decor is sober and bright. School tables and chairs, bamboo hanging baskets, subway tiles and lawn, you'll feel relaxed. The furniture is made from recycled materials, so of course we salute it.

At the helm of the restaurant? Two women: Nisuria in the kitchen and Wanna in the dining room. A dynamic duo that combines a warm welcome with finely decorated dishes.

What do you eat in this friendly restaurant? Curry, of course. Nisuria doesn't offer just one type of curry, but a journey through the different regions of Thailand. Everyone knows the famous green Thai curry, the Bangkok curry (which the chef makes to perfection with Thai basil, galangal, coconut milk, papaya and shrimp paste), but do you know the yellow curry called Khao Soy from the north of the country? Have you ever tasted Masseman curry from the south, flavored with cinnamon? Maybe it's time to perfect your curry culture!

At lunchtime, you're free to choose a "starter, main course, dessert" menu, choosing from vegetable nems, papaya salad, chicken skewers with satay or the famous sweet and sour soup with lemongrass shrimp for starters. Continue with pad thai, a crying tiger for the brave, or one of the many curries on offer.

In the evening, let yourself be tempted by the tasting menu, which allows you to try all the starters, choose one of the dishes and finish with a gourmet trio.

For our part, we opted for the Khao Soy curry (a yellow curry with chicken and crispy, melting noodles) and the famous, richly flavored green curry with glutinous rice. Don't hesitate to add your own chili pepper to make sure your dish is just right.

We accompany all this with a good coconut juice and finish with the sweets. Special mention for the Thai chestnut flan, a real delight.

So, friends, how about a little Thai?

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
