Comptoir Veggie, the vegan canteen of the 12th district

For a 100% vegan menu, go to Comptoir Veggie, in the 12th district of Paris. This place is both a coffee shop and a canteen, but with vegan, healthy and seasonal cuisine. The dishes offered evolve with the seasons and change every week, to be tasted in a relaxing and uncluttered atmosphere.

The decoration is as vegetal as the menu, the latter being very varied to satisfy all tastes, with a formula around 14 euros, which satisfies well. On the salty side, you have the choice between a gluten-free buddha bowl, a spicy soup with sweet potatoes and curry, a traditional sandwich with a tasty vegan mayonnaise with lime, a well-filled and perfectly seasoned scone with bacon, omelette and vegan cream cheese or a grilled cheese with vegan cheese and mushrooms. Everything is very colorful, ideal to put energy in your plate!

The big gourmets will not be left out either since the house proposes cheesecakes, cookies, brownies, açai bowl and other sweets, particularly appetizing. The desserts are renewed regularly, to adapt to the desires of the moment. At the time of the galettes, we opted for one of each, impossible to choose between praline/chocolate and lemon/almond, with irresistible tastes.

To go with it all, we enjoy a pressed fruit juice, a smoothie or a hot drink, with different types of coffee and latte, but also infusions and other artisanal drinks of the moment.
