Tresor Talk: Thinking the Night — Club Cultures in Paris & Berlin

Published by Communiqué Sponsorisé · Updated on April 4, 2026 at 11:12 a.m.
On the occasion of the Grand Opening, a brand-new round table brings together artists, programmers and observers to question what structures the nights of Paris and Berlin, on Saturday, April 11 at Mia Mao, from 8:30 to 10:30 PM.

From Berlin to Paris, techno sits at the crossroads of heritage and the politics of urban space.

Berlin, Europe’s techno capital, whose scene is recognized as cultural heritage. Paris, a city where nightlife players navigate a constant negotiation with the authorities. These two metropolises share many similarities, yet are marked by clear differences.

For its 35th anniversary, the Berlin club Tresor is invading Paris for a night of discussion. The roundtable Tresor Talk gathers voices from both scenes to unpack club culture from artistic, socio-political, and economic angles, from spaces of musical experimentation to urban imaginaries, and the political and community stakes involved.

This exclusive event brings together artists, curators, and scene-watchers. Participants include Véra Manoukian (Radio Sofa), Annette Hauschild (Ostkreuz agency), Paul Ćinske (Tresor / Aerial Palette), Orion (Dyketopia), UFO95 (DJ and Tresor resident), Keut (Kluster), and Eric Labbé (Mia Mao).

Saturday, April 11, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Free entry via Shotgun.

Tresor's 35th anniversary at Mia Mao

The evening serves as a lead-in to a night staged in collaboration with Mia Mao. Founded in the early 1990s in post-reunification Berlin, Tresor has established itself as one of Europe’s pioneering techno clubs, a central figure in the Detroit-Berlin dialogue and a champion of a raw, independent vision of electronic music.

At the heart of Parc de la Villette, Mia Mao is more than a club: it’s a gathering place for those who live music with intensity. Each night brings together a vibrant community of dancers, artists, and enthusiasts, united by the energy of the moment. Here, the party unfolds collectively: bodies move, minds connect, and every moment becomes a shared, authentic, and unforgettable experience.
