Habibi Love in Paris: a night that fuses raï, chaâbi and Arabic House.

Raï, chaâbi, Amazigh rhythms, Arabic House and Arab Tech: Habibi Love stages a dialogue between North African and Middle Eastern classics, family memories and new electronic sounds on the Paris dancefloor. Next rendezvous at La Folie on October 17, 2026.

A tune heard a thousand times at a family wedding can here be found just minutes before an Arab Tech production geared for the club. It is precisely in this widening gap that Habibi Love has found its formula. Based in Paris, the night « Arabic Night Sounds » brings together on one dancefloor the music of North Africa and the Middle East, their popular classics and their latest electronic reinterpretations.

Raï, chaâbi, Amazigh-inflected sounds, Afro-oriental vibes, Arabic House or even desert tones: music boundaries are deliberately porous. The result? A party that looks as much toward Algiers, Tunis, Casablanca or Beirut as toward contemporary Paris nightlife.

Habibi Love: where nostalgia meets electronic music

The essence of Habibi Love lies largely in a dialogue between generations. On one side, you hear familiar flavors drawn from raï, chaâbi, or Amazigh music. On the other, the DJs fuse these sounds with Arabic House, Arab Tech, electro, or club-forward contemporary productions.

Raï, popularized notably from Algeria, has long fused local traditions with modern instruments and international influences. Chaâbi, for its part, harks back to several folk traditions across the Arab world, with a particularly rich history in Algeria.

Arabic House and Arab Tech are extending this movement today, weaving melodies, instruments, or voices from those cultures into formats designed for electronic music and the club. Habibi Love isn’t about reconstituting a traditional night out: it leans into these musical legacies to keep them circulating through today’s Paris.

For several seasons now, the night has established its headquarters at À La Folie, in the Parc de la Villette. For this new night, Habibi Love invites you to gather there on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. with a lineup bringing together YANE, melissa.wav, Gorilan and Groovalizacion DJs.
