Horaires : 8h-19h en semaine, 9h-19h samedi et le dimanche de 11h à 16h
La Compagnie du Café is a new brand likely to please all coffee lovers. Produced in Paris next to the Place Saint-Georges in a former artisan roastery, coffee can be delightfully sipped on the spot or taken back home. And for curious ones, La Compagnie du Café organizes tasting and roasting workshops!
According to La Compagnie du Café founder Romain Fabry “roasting is a matter of seconds and degrees”.
Therefore, at the roastery of La Compagnie du Café set rue Notre Dame de Lorette, the roaster offers a wide selection of grands crus coffees roasted according his experience in a state-of-the-art machine promising a top quality and an irreproachable flavor stability.
Romain Fabry selects his coffees from small producers. For example, the Suddi Montains is a semi-forest Moka Arabica coffee from organic farming in the Anfilloo Wallagga region in Ethiopia, the Yrgacheffe is an Arabica Moka coffee from the Sidamo region (Ethiopia) whilst the La Cumbre from La Finca El Manzano is a “plain” Red Bourbon Arabica from farmer Emilio Lopez grew in the volcanic region of the Illamatepec in El Salvador.
Brought shortly after being harvested, beans are roast by Romain Fabry and pack in bags to preserve their freshness for two to three weeks. If you can buy coffee beans or ground coffee, the coffees offered are served on the spot which is the perfect opportunity to choose your coffee according to its aroma and strength.
You’ll have to pay €2.4 for an expresso and you can also enjoy it with a slice of cheesecake, carrot cake or banoffee pie (to die for) for an even greater pleasure.
