A glassed-in terrace in winter and fully open on sunny days, a large bar, an open kitchen and a central urban space with neon lights, exposed stones and designer chairs form the decor.
Open since September, this friendly coffee shop has something to satisfy your desires all day long, from 8am to 7pm. At the helm is Julien Alda, a barrista who made his mark at Loustic café or even at La Chambre Noire. A coffee lover, he offers a fine selection of specialty coffees from small producers, which changes according to the season.
To accompany your coffees and lattés, you can choose among the various homemade cakes and sweets (except for the pastries which come from the bakery "Tout autour du pain"). Every day, you can opt for 2 fresh juices made in minute that change according to the seasons.
In the kitchen, Chef Mario Flores, of Mexican origin, will give your dishes a twist. Are you hungry? Don't worry, the plates are generous. No meat at République of Coffee, we do it vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or even pisci vegetarian (eggs and fish are on the menu). For vegans, the place offers oat milk to accompany your coffees and granolas.
Opt for the gourmet California Bowl which combines rice, quinoa, red cabbage, sweet potato, fresh cheese, avocado, kale, radish, pickles... Indulge yourself with the tuna ceviche or the generous huevos rancheros. If there are several of you, opt for the pleasures to share: guacamole, quesadilla and spicy kale chips on the menu.
On Sundays, treat yourself with the 20€ brunch that offers hot drinks, fresh juice, granola and huevos rancheros. In short, what to treat yourself with homemade food that tastes good and offer a good coffee.
