Excitement on Rue Royale! For the second year in a row, Perrier-Jouët , and Maxim's are opening the doors to La Parenthèse Belle Époque, a pop-up Parisian venue where champagne meetsArt Nouveau. Until March 2026, the first floor of the legendary restaurant will be adorned with décor celebrating the nature so dear to the House: stained glass windows, arches of anemones by Émile Gallé, alcoves and vintage art objects straight out of a golden age. At the bar, artist Samantha Kerdine's stele, designed to hold a 2007 Belle Époque jeroboam, pays tribute to the iconic Perrier-Jouët anemone.
In this timeless bubble, the two iconic Houses combine their expertise to create a perfect pairing. Yann Meinsel, chef at Maxim's, and Sébastien Morellon, executive chef at Maison Belle Époque, have created a signature dish as refined as a vintage wine: foie gras with a veil of Champagne Grand Brut, mango and spice chutney, anemone tuile, and brioche toast. A creation to be savored to the rhythm of the bubbles of the Blanc de Blancs cuvée, presented in an exclusive Maxim's bottle, or the Belle Époque 2016 vintage cuvée.
This legendary duo is not new. Their story has been sparkling since 1969, when the first Belle Époque cuvée was unveiled in the restaurant. It quickly became the star of society dinners in the 1970s, before the exceptional dinner in 1983 for the launch of Belle Époque Rosé, bringing together the cream of Parisian society. After a hiatus, the flame was rekindled in 2024 with the first Parenthèse Belle Époque.
To accompany the flutes, the venue offers an exclusive musical program. A pianist performs on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a repertoire combining pop covers, film music, and revisited standards.
An invitation to celebrate the Belle Époque, with bubbles, fine dining, and Parisian lifestyle.
