Café du 19M opens on Monday June 13, 2022, from 8 :30 a.m. to 5 p.m., within Galerie du 19M, a place entirely devoted to Chanel art and fashion trades, somewhere between Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis.
The café, created in partnership with Grand Cuisine (agency specialized in the creation of cultural locations) settled in on the ground floor of the contemporary building by architect Rudy Ricciotti. Art and gastronomy are one in this new fashion food spot where chefs and baristas rub shoulders with designers. The outcome is a varied menu practicing affordable rates in a unique setting also enjoying a plant-filled terrace!
With elegant and contemporary furniture by Studio GGSV, come and enjoy a cup of coffee from the Antoine Nétien laboratories – France’s 2011 best roaster – served by barista Magdalena Brodzinska – double France’s Latte Art Champion in 2014 and 2016. From Monday to Friday, from noon to 2:30 p.m., Café du 19M serves lunch set menus to enjoy on site or takeaway. Behind the menu renewed weekly stands chef-designer-stylist-photographer from Ardèche Marion May, as well as tandem Constance Henrot-Tardivier and Sophie Léger who learn the ropes in several major venues in north-eastern Paris.
On site, “Starter-Main” or “Main-Dessert” set menus for €15 and the complete “Sarter-Main-Dessert” at €18. Available for takeaway, the “Main-Dessert” set menu for €10 and extra drink for €2.
On the menu this week: yellow pollock, oyster mushrooms from Paris, rhubarb puff pastry pie, Club sandwich and Brookie… Culinary creations made with organic and seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as ingredients from the best artisans and farmers in the area and the region.
As summer is just around the corner, we are looking forward to enjoying the chef’s solar cuisine on the gorgeous garden-forest terrace of 19M!
