Enter the new wave of sports fashion with Galerie du 19M 's next exhibition! After Carla Fernández, the Manufacture de Mode Chanel art gallery invites Stéphane Ashpool, maestro of urban fashion, for a carte blanche at the crossroads between couture and streetwear, from March 27 to June 16, 2024.
Entitled"Figure Libre. Stéphane Ashpool", this free exhibition shakes up codes and mixes genres. Fashion, photography, video, music... each element contributes to a vibrant dialogue between the arts, boosted by a series of cultural events staged by guest artists and performers.
Stéphane Ashpool, the iconoclastic designer behind the Pigalle Paris sportswear brand and winner of the 2015 ANDAM Grand Prix, redefines the codes of urban fashion with a touch of madness and authenticity. While exceptional collaborations have already marked his career (Nike, Missoni, ...), it's now at the heart of a retrospective exhibition ( in part) that he unveils his abundant universe blending urban aesthetics and sophistication.
This season, Galerie du 19M celebrates the art of movement, where every fabric, every seam, every color is an ode to freedom and self-expression. Echoing the brand's community spirit, the 19e spot also focuses its new highlight on the transmission of knowledge. From hands-on Métiers d'art discovery workshops to lectures by experts in the field, every moment is an invitation to explore the symbiosis between art, sport and fashion.
