Set 52 rue Lamarck, Chamarré Montmartre offers you a gastronomic break in one of the most touristic neighborhood in the capital, a few meters only from the Sacré Coeur. Here, we forget about the Parisian hustle and bustle and enjoy a meal, cut off from the stress of the world.
As soon as we arrive, we see the tree-filled terrace, hanging from the legendary stairs of the Butte, that makes us travel in another universe. Once inside, you discover a chic and timeless decoration. Furniture, made of warm and noble materials such as solid wood and leather, reflects the chef’s cuisine: authentic and lively.
In the plate, chef Antoine Heerah, from Mauritius, cooks us a mixed and personal gastronomic cuisine mixing France and Asia, sweet, sour, savory and spicy. He makes his guests travel thanks to citrus fruits. We enjoy local products associated with textures and flavors that remind us of his roots, his trips and his meetings.
When we came, in addition to his lovely smile, the chef served us a tasting menu that gives citrus fruits pride of place, especially made according to the inspiration of the moment:
Tomato gazpacho and basil ice cream
No. 2 special oysters, freshened up with caviar lime
Soft-boiled egg cooked at low temperature and vegetable marmalade
Albacore tuna tataki, wakame and ponzu
Red mullet fillet and jumbo shrimp from Guilvinec, cockle risotto
Galician beef filet, pan-fried mushrooms and cep vinegar
Fig and Baches citrus fruit textures
In short, a true haven of peace for a lovely meal untouched by time in a charming restaurant in the heart of Paris.
