Opposite the Place de la République, Mon Coco is the place to be at almost any time of day or night. Whether it's a trendy cocktail bar, a family restaurant or a more intimate setting (depending on the table), it's one of those places in the capital where everyone agrees.

Since 2017, Christophe and Delphine have been at the helm of what is now "Répu's" flagship brasserie: Mon Coco. Blending convivial cuisine with influences from around the world, the menu offers a (very) wide range of options, and one thing's for sure: there's something for everyone, we assure you.

On the menu, the chefs offer a daily changing slate, with several options for dishes, starters and desserts each time. For starters, the cheddar arancini is one of the stars of the menu, along with the pea velouté, perfect for warming up in winter.

As for main courses, salmon a la plancha (lacquered with honey and soy sauce) is all the rage, as are the more traditional ravioles du Dauphiné, served with basil cream. And don't forget the old-fashioned blanquette de veau, which takes the dust off this classic French dish, or the exotic chicken wok with coconut curry. The little extra? The desserts are all prepared on site by the restaurant's pastry chef.

Oh yes, and Matthias Giroud, the restaurant's alchemist, proposes cocktails and other high-flying mocktails, which he composes to marry alcohols, juices, syrups... We honestly advise you not to leave without tasting them: the mastery of pairing is exceptional, and even the most classic mocktails are surprising!

"Mon Coco is the nickname I've given Christophe ever since we met," explains Delphine, the restaurant's founder. It's an apt reference to the atmosphere reflected in the place: a friendly restaurant, where you can come with your family, your colleagues for lunch, or friends for a drink. What's more, the restaurant has made a further nod to the Place de la République, opposite which it stands, with a huge fresco featuring some of the characters from La liberté guidant le peuple, Delacroix's famous oil on canvas, painted by Nasty.

For the kids, we like the €13.50 children's menu (served up to age 9) with main course, drink and dessert. For everyone else, Mon Coco has the great advantage of opening at 7 or 8 a.m. and closing at 2 a.m. on weekday evenings (Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays), and at 5 a.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings.

For your morning coffee at 7am sharp, a lunch with colleagues, an aperitif with friends, a romantic dinner or an evening that lasts until late, there's no doubt: Mon Coco will be open and ready to welcome you on Place de la République.
