Boteco, the Brazilian tapas bar in Paris 10th arrondissement

Boteco is the trendy Brazilian address that rocks Paris 10th arrondissement. A friendly tapas bar that makes everyone looking for exotic notes and southern-American getaways travel…

Rio? Sao Paulo? Iguazù? It’s hard to believe we’re just a stone’s throw from Parisian metro station Bonne Nouvelle.

If you love caipirinha, Amazonia and tapas and that you wish to escape the grey color of the sky and the current gloominess… We’ve found the perfect address: Boteco.

Nestled in rue de l’échiquier, Boteco (meaning “Bar” in Brazilian) exhilarates you, takes you away, intoxicates you…

We’ll never know if it’s because of the cachaça steam that emanates from the place, or simply the delicious tropical atmosphere, but this first Parisian Boteco brilliantly warms up the hearts of the souls tired of the routine and looking for a getaway at all costs.

It’s in June 2017 that the Brazilian address opens to invite curious people, skilled taste buds to escape and discover Brazil for a few hours (without even using a plane…).

Nicolas and Ricardo, the two buddies behind this 100% Brazilian and Parisian project, managed to win their bet and it’s a success: they perfectly recreated the atmosphere of a typical Boteco with a sophisticated menu, a raw and green décor that looks like a jungle.

What we want before anything else is to make the customer travel in the heat and the authenticity of Brazil, without the clichés. Ricardo revisit Brazilian specialties with a French twist and we squeeze our juices ourselves with fruits imported from Brazil. Our Tonka bean beer is brewed here, and like in Brazil, we drink true caipirinha!” the restaurant co-founder Nicolas Delauche explains.

On the menu? A whole bunch of homemade Brazilian specialties that look to come straight from a kitchen filled with life and festival samba… Da Horta, da terra and do mar tapas to die for, the legendary picanha and even black hummus with beans and sesame, coconut milk grilled crab without forgetting ceviche.

What’s to drink? Gallons of “caïpi” based on fresh fruits from Brazil, southern-American wine and exotic beer to disinhibit listening to Bossa Nova music.
