Last year, Canard Street, Lille restaurant dedicated 100% to duck arrived in Paris! Behind it, Nicolas and Grégoire for whom duck enjoyed during family reunions is a genuine childhood memory.
Together, they decide to modernize and offer a variety of poultry by opening a restaurant dedicated to duck. It’s in 2016 they inaugurate their first address in Lille, followed in 2017 by Canard Street Béthune and Canard Street Petits Champs, the first restaurant in Paris.
To be enjoyed on the spot or to take away, Canard Street provides duck in all shapes coming from French farmers.
On a deliberately short menu, pick up between the spot's "unmissable" offers: the Burger Magret ground duck breasts, confit duck leg and parsley cooked à la plancha, knife-cut duck breast tartare (French or Thai style), crispy duck breasts and cheese heart... It's duck-licious!
As for us, we went for burger confit with confit duck steak, fig confit and goat's cheese, followed by half duck breast cooked à la plancha, perfectly rare! As side, we have the salad enhanced with hearty bites of gizzards, as well as French fries cooked in duck fat, of course!
As starters, Canard Street provides lovely things such as the unmissable duck foie gras, the duck breast dry sausage as well as (and most of all), giblets we rarely see in a restaurant, heart skewers, so good!
