La Gare is not your average restaurant. Set in chaussée de la Muette in Paris 16th arrondissement, this former Parisian railway station adjusted as a restaurant in the 90’s.
In 2017, Moma Group has decided to purchase it and to give it a new breath of life. Covering 600-sqm and two floors and featuring 300 seats, La Gare has everything to please.
Just to give it some pep’s and modernity, indoor designer Laura Gonzalez has thought about a colorful décor inspired by the exotic dishes cooked in the kitchen. Because in the kitchen, we have Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio.
For this second Parisian project (after the opening of his restaurant Manko Paris), Gastón Acurio has come up with a menu with world’s flavors that is simple and affordable.
This world’s cuisine is brought to life at La Gare thanks to the various stands with distinctive universes: in the dinning room, we have the kiosks inspired by Asian, Peruvian and Mediterranean flavors such as sushis, bao burgers, dim-sums or even tapas, the whole revisited the Gastón Acurio way.
The reopening of La Gare is planned for April 2019. And we must say we’re eager to go have lunch on the beautiful and big terrace on the same level as the Jardin du Ranelagh where soon beautiful pieces of meat will grill in the grill area. Moreover, La Gare will launch at the same time a delicious Sunday’s brunch.
Shall we met on opening day?
