Looking for a mouthwatering spot in Eastern Paris? Head to Patty! Halfway between local bistro and contemporary brasserie, this new address was inaugurated in late August 2020 in Paris 12th arrondissement, a few meters from the Gare de Lyon and the Seine riverbanks.
Behind Patty hides a place where one feels great at any time of the day from breakfast to dinner, via the after hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Once you passed the large sheltered and heated terrace, you discover a huge room where wood and plant are ruling to give you a warm vibe, designed by decorator Emma Roux and architect Christopher Matignon.
Moving on to the menu, Patty best on hearty cuisine with deliciously and creatively revisited classics like a poultry supreme or “weeping tiger” beef fillet.
For dinner, the menu features more mouthwatering options. We start with a first favorite: very thinly cut beetroot carpaccio served with cream cheese, crunchy hazelnuts and honey to smooth it all. A very beautiful, tasty and fresh dish!
Across the table, we have the excellent and hearty homemade veal liver and pig terrine with some salad. Patty provides other starters such as shrimp tempura and bittersweet sauce and even fines de Claire n°3 oysters.
Moving on to mains, fish lovers will undoubtedly ask for the seabream ceviche with granny smith apple, pomegranate and kumquat or the salmon and king shrimp poke bowl. As for meat eaters, there are some rib steak and the staple beef tartare.
As for us, we go for the flavorful salmon and king shrimp tataki served with some kiwi dressing and hazelnuts; and the staple and highly coveted cheeseburger and homemade fries. A classic that has a very hearty and perfectly-cooked steak.
What about sweet-toothed? The chef offers them to take them to heaven with some deconstructed lemon pie, or a Madagascan vanilla mille-feuille for lunch, or even a 2-chocolate sphere or Tatin tart and crème fraiche for dinner.
To pair it all, Patty unveils a wonderful selection of classic cocktails, including some incredible red and white wine references.
