Karlito, the 100% gourmet organic Italian canteen at the MOB Hotel - our photos

In the mood for tasty organic Italian cuisine? Let's go to Karlito, the MOB Hotel's new canteen, which invites you to discover a 100% organic and 100% gourmet menu just a stone's throw from the Puces de Saint-Ouen. And the program at this fine address includes home-style service, organic food accessible to all and, of course, 100% home-cooked cuisine.

And in order to offer fair prices for its organic cuisine, gourmets are invited to pick up their dishes at the counter. The lower cost is reflected in the bill... As for the menu, there's a lovely classic offering of 100% organic antipasti and pizzas, to eat in or take away, as well as roasted peppers and tiramisu... A whole host of tasty dishes created by Paolo Sari, a Michelin-starred organic chef, using raw ingredients.

As for the pizzas, they are made with exceptional flour from a family-run water-powered mill. The grains, grown at high altitude, are ground by natural stones to preserve their quality and taste. Pizzas are also available"al taglio" (by the slice) at the bar, for those who like to eat on the go. And on sunny days, you can even sit out in the garden, on one of the two rooftops or near the chickens.

A kitchen we were able to try out... When you arrive, you're seated directly at the table, and your order is placed by flashing a QR Code on your smartphone. A bit like a delivery app, you select what you'd like, and once your order is ready, you're invited to pick it up at the counter.

On the menu, we were tempted by the rice arancini, with saffron risotto and cheese heart, and by the Karlito salad, featuring Romaine, tomatoes, a vegetable jardinière, tuna, mozzarella, Kalamata olives and vinaigrette. The arancini were a pure delight, absolutely not heavy, simple, but tasty and well executed, while the salad added an incomparable sunny freshness.

We then opted for a Burrata vegetable pizza, also excellent, and for dessert, the house tiramisu. Just as delicious, not too sweet and creamy. A fine meal, admittedly rather simple, but surprisingly tasty and beautifully executed, which should make this establishment one of the places to squat in the neighborhood if you want to eat relatively healthily.

A restaurant in tune with the times, and a great place to discover fine Italian cuisine!
