This year’s Urban Films Festival jury (chaired by comedian Jamel Debbouze) received over 500 short-movies, directed by movie fans from all over the world. Their only common denominator is that they all take place in the street, with klaxons in the background.
The jury selected 37 movies belonging to very different genres (documentary, fiction, animation,…) and coming from all over the world (Rio, Montreal, Nouméa, Beirut…).
To see them, there’s nothing simpler: come to the Canopée des Halles from October 9 to 14, 2018. All screenings are free of charge. But first of all, the program has a few surprises in stores: fashion shows, dance battles and exhibitions. We can even attend a few conferences take part in workshops… In other words, there’ll be something for everyone.
Don’t miss the opening night open to all and organized on Friday October 12 from 7:30 p.m. at La Place within the Canopée. On the menu:
