After Hancock, the drunk superhero in 2008 and Aladdin Genie this past spring, Will Smith returns as a secret agent who has to face his younger and cloned self in “Gemini Man”, a movie by Ang Lee and out in France on October 2, 2019.
Will Smith will play with Clive Owen, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Benedict Wong and Linda Emond. He also has been nominated at the Oscars for his role in “Gemini Man”.
Ang Lee has also shot – among others – Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Life of Pi a movie for which he won the Oscar for best moviemaker. With “Gemini Man”, he signs a science-fiction film including action, big stunts, and clones. The idea of the movie – initially developed in 1997 – has (finally) resumed in 2016. Also producing the movie, Jerry Bruckheimer, the man behind successful series “CSI” (all series included), “Without a Trace”, “Cold Case” and even “Lucifer”.
“Gemini Man” will be out in Imax, 2D and 3D.
