“We Are One: A Global Film Festival”, the digital and solidarity-based film festival

After the virtual music show, discover the virtual film festival! “We Are One: A Global Film Festival” is coming on the internet from May 29 to June 7, 2020 for movie fans’ greatest joy. Goal? Collecting funds for the WHO. On the occasion, over twenty great film festivals have announced they will partner with Cannes, Venice and Berlin film festivals.

7th art will be given pride of place from May 29 to June 7, 2020 thanks to “We Are One: A Global Film Festival”. If the idea is to stream movies for free on Youtube, the goal is to collect funds for the World Health Organization in order to keep on fighting against Covid-19.

To make this event shine online, several major film festivals have confirmed their participation: such as the Cannes Film Festival initially planned from May 12 to 23, 2020, as well as the Berlin, Venice and Toronto Film Festivals.

So far, the program has not dropped yet, but feature lengths and short movies, as well as documentaries are expected, whether they are new or classic. Discussion panels will also be available.

Devoted to the world of cinema, harshly hit by the coronavirus crisis, “We Are One: A Global Film Festival” is also based on solidarity since a part of the funds collected by this virtual event will be donated to the World Health Organization (WHO) and to charities.
