The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris will return on Sunday April 3, 2022! As tradition would have it, participants started the race from the Champs Elysées and cover the legendary 42.195km throughout the French capital’s most beautiful streets, before crossing the finish line at the Porte Dauphine.
Who will be the winners? In the meantime, here are the winners of the 2021 edition. Completing the race in 2 hours 4 minutes and 23 seconds, Kenyan Elisha Rotich - 31 years old - breaks the record of the Paris marathon that dated back to 2014. As for women, Ethiopian Tigist Memuye - followed by two other Ethiopians - made it first. As for the parasport category, French Julien Casoli won the race for the fourth time!
Note that in 2021, 35,000 racers signed up to face this famous marathon.
