Marathoon's: the free marathon for kids to run like grown-ups

Who said the Paris Marathon was only for adults? Children are also invited to show what they can do on the eve of Paris' most famous marathon, at the Marathoon's, on Saturday April 12, 2025. Of course, their course is much shorter, and will take place in the 7th arrondissement, on the Place de Fontenoy. If you've got kids between the ages of 5 and 12 who need to let off some steam, this is theideal sporting activity!

Four free races are scheduled, depending on the age of the children:

• 11 a.m. - 5-6 years - Mini Marathooniens - 400 m
• 11:30 a.m. - 7-8 years - P'tits Marathooniens - 800 m
• 12h - 9-10 years - Moyens Marathooniens - 1,200 m
• 12:30 p.m. - 11-12 years - Grands Marathooniens - 1 600 m

They'll be treated to their very own Village, with plenty of entertainment on the programme, including music and a warm-up to ensure they're well prepared and don't hurt themselves! And at the end of the course, a medal and a real snack will be waiting for them at the finish to congratulate them on their efforts and courage! Children don't need a medical certificate to take part in Marathoon's, but be sure to print out and fill in a parental authorization form.
